However, this set includes 669 pieces and requires little assembly time. My son was able to construct it with only a little assistance when he was five years old. So this shouldn't be an issue for a six-year-old.
The exciting part of the set is the airplane luggage compartment, which houses a red convertible automobile and an airport truck with a car elevator. The plane also contains a pilot and passenger seat, allowing all the mini figures to sit comfortably. There's also a control tower and terminal building with a luggage conveyor in this set. This aircraft kit is ideal for your LEGO enthusiast child!

LEGO Technic Monster Jam Grave Digger 42118 is a fantastic-looking model with many realistic features, such as big tires, a moving flag, and red headlights. This pull-back truck is as strong as all other LEGO Technic vehicles, which means it's built to last and can withstand plenty of hardcore play. This set contains just 212 pieces. Unlike block-based LEGOs, LEGO Technic is more difficult to construct. As a result, if your 6-year-old does not have any expertise with Technic building, you will need to assist them. But the end result is well worth the effort! A fantastic buy at a fantastic price.

The following set is the first in which a LEGO Technic model can float in water. Realistic elements such as moving sails, daggerboards, and rudder are included in the LEGO Technic Catamaran 42105. This model is large (12" (32cm) long, 8" (22cm) wide and 17" (44cm) high) but consists of only 404 pieces. Catamaran, like other LEGO Technic structures, is more difficult to create than traditional brick buildings. Despite this, the structure is quite durable. This model looks nice when on display.
If you have a 7-year-old who has prior experience with Technic models, they may be able to put this together without your assistance. In other situations, you'll almost certainly be required to assist them at some point. However, the end result is so gratifying that it's well worth the time and money invested in this set!

The LEGO Creator Mighty Dinosaurs 31058 is a fantastic mashup of two of kids' most favorite things: LEGOs and dinosaurs. Although the set is small (174 pieces), the T-Rex figure is big enough to play with (over 4-inch (11 cm) tall). The construction may break into pieces during play (after all, it's a T-Rex), but it doesn't take long to put back together.
The appeal of this toy set is that it allows you to create two more dinosaurs (a Triceratops and a Pterodactyl). You can also get additional instructions on the LEGO website to construct a bonus Brachiosaurus. With so many different building possibilities, this set is a winner at just around 20 dollars.
